eBooks & eAudio Books from eMediaLibrary
eMediaLibrary, powered by OverDrive, has ebooks and audio books for adults, teens and kids. Thousands of bestsellers as well as ebooks and audio books by popular authors are compatible with smartphones, tablet PCs and ebook readers, including Kindles and the Kindle app. eBooks and audio books check out to one person at a time and expire after two weeks. This is a shared collection so you should login with your library barcode number and PIN to see titles available to Wheaton cardholders. You must have a current Wheaton Public Library card and a PIN to use this collection.
How it works: Kindle ~ eBook Reader ~ Tablet PC ~ Smartphone ~ Audio Player

Publisher Limitations: Please be aware that the library's ability to purchase ebooks is restricted by the publishers. Not all of them sell their ebooks to libraries. Random House, recently tripled its ebook prices to libraries and Penguin requires Kindle users to transfer ebooks via USB. For more information about publisher limitations on libraries see eBooks for Libraries.
